There is going to be a presentation made to Wayne Rowe by the doorslammer competitors here at the nationals to aknowlege his 200MPH pass outside of the USA, Calder Park November 11th 1989.

Lamattina has had a tyre blow up and leave the car at 60ft. - Luke Shepherd reinstated - Lamatinna lost a critical component

1.25pm Pro Stock into start up area

1.40 Pro Stock round 2 starts

1.50pm Pro Bike round 1 starts

1.55pm Top Bike round 1

2.05pm top alcohol into start up area for round 1

Group One Semi finals are expected at approx 3.30pm

SATURDAY LIVE RESULTS 

Good afternoon from the 2009 Fuchs Australian Nationals at Sydney Dragway. Group one qualifying is scheduled to start at 1.30 and run non stop through until 8pm tonight - with 3 back to back qualifying sessions!

It is a hot day with a predicted maximum of 31 degrees Celsius.

1.36pm Group One Qualifying delayed, supercharged outlwas currently on track, modifed bike to follow and then group one

1.45pm Track prep underway

1.48pm Modified bike into start up area

1.55pm Pro Stock into start up area

2.15pm Pro Bike

2.25pm Top Bike

due to internet speed issues, results will be updated at completion of each class :(

2.40 Top alcohol into start up area

3.00pm Top Doorslammer into start up area

3.25pm top doorslammer has completed, the re- run of the alcohol qualifying pair will then be run before Top Fuel

3.35pm top fuel into start up area

3.40pm approx 15min delay due to oil and fuel

3.52pm Big J is awesome . . . clean up continues

4.05pm Track is clear, Top Fuel to continue shortly

Matt Able with a wild ride after bursting a rear tyre, a great drive job kept if off the wall, on its wheels and away from Tynan. A small break as the track is cleared

Wayne is needed for observation, the meeting is on hold until another ambulance arrives.
