Heather started her drag racing experience at Avon Park Raceway in 1989 as a start-line marshall and achieved the status of the first female Championship Chief Starter during 1990.

In 1993 she trained as a National Motorcycle Tech officer for both Avon Park Raceway and Santa Pod Raceway and was the Motorcycle representative for Avon Park Raceway.

In 1995 Heather was promoted to Chief Executive Officer for the track. During this time she was involved in forming National Championship rounds in the UK.

Heather resigned from this role at the end of 1998 to further her career as a wine specialist but missed the sport so much so that she crewed on Europes fastest turbo nitrous funny bike which was campaigned in the UK and America.

In June 2005 Heather emigrated to Australia with the plan to open a coffee shop in Perth and escape the clutches of that drug called drag racing.

Fortunately Heather succumbed to a small relapse and attended the Winternationals 2005 where Heather met Steve again after over 12 years. For the rest of the story you will need to talk to Heather or Steve in person. Needless to say Heather and Steve now own and campaign their own Top Fuel dragster.
